Licensure and Certifications

Psychologist-Master:

The Psychologist-Master license is granted to psychologists who have a master’s degree in psychology. The license requires 2,000 hours of supervised clinical training and the successful completion of American Psychological Association (APA) nationally standardized licensing exam.

Certified Group Psychotherapist:

The CGP is certification by the National Registry of Certified Group Psychotherapists, based on completion of structured training in Group Therapy and the fulfillment of required experience and supervision in the practice of Group Therapy.

Certified EMDR Therapist:

This certification is issued by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), based on completion of structured EMDR training and at least 3 years of clinical practice of EMDR Therapy. The Certified EMDR Therapist must have provided at least 75 EMDR sessions to at least 25 different clients, and have had 20 hours of EMDR-specific supervisory oversight by an EMDR Consultant.

EMDR Consultant:

Approval as an EMDR consultant, by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), requires certification as an EMDR Therapist. In addition, the EMDR Consultant has provided EMDR Therapy to at least 75 different clients, in a minimum of 300 EMDR sessions, and has had a minimum of 40 hours of training with an EMDR Consultant

Certified Rubenfeld Synergist (CRS):

The CRS is issued by the Rubenfeld Training Center. It is based on the successful completion of the 3-year training program in the Rubenfeld Synergy Method, experience of personal Rubenfeld Synergy sessions and a year of in-training client hours with supervision.
